Ascend is a mentor-protégé joint venture between Savalan and Summit under the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Mentor-Protégé Program. Ascend combines the resources, talents, and experience of both partners for well rounded, effective financial management support.
Savalan, LLC (savalanllc.com) focuses on clients’ back-office functions so they can focus on mission and programmatic delivery. We provide financial management services to finance and administrative departments across a range of government agencies, government contractors, and non-profit organizations. Our customized services span from budget formulation/execution and financial analysis to restructuring operational and financial processes for increased efficiency to include personnel realignment in those functions. The experienced professionals at Savalan are well versed in operational, financial, and administrative functions and have extensive knowledge of federal policies, rules and regulations
Summit (summitllc.us) is a quantitative and qualitative analysis firm that uses economics, statistics, and data analytics to solve problems for our federal and private-sector clients. Our services in federal infrastructure finance, evidence-based program evaluation, program and business modernization, and enforcement and litigation analytics help make government effective and society just. Founded in 2003, Summit prides itself on maintaining a collaborative workplace built on diverse thought, learning, and trust.
